The Azienda Agricola Lombardini Francesco has always focused on the cultivation of traditional grapes from the rural province of Reggio Emilia: Lambrusco Marani, Lambrusco Salamino and Ancellotta; these grapes are used to make wines such as Reggiano Rosso Dop, Reggiano Lambrusco Dop, Lambrusco Emilia Igp. In 2013, the company created the “Podere Francesco” brand, which allows the opportunity to visit the company through an experience which brings together traditional flavours and familiar genuineness.

Taking advantage of the ideal location, the Museum of Fine Arts of Montréal, we prepared a tribute to 11 of the greatest contemporary painters, trying to imagine how they would have interpreted, in their own style, a bottle and a glass of wine. We then associate each artist with the 11 wineries participating in the second edition of the “Wine and Travel Italy Roadshow”.

For the initiative “11 artists for 11 vineyards”, the Lombardini Podere Francesco company was paired with the artist Picasso.”
